Elise Schumacher has been a licensed funeral director for the past 10 years, and most recently, managed a monument company in New Ulm, Minnesota. She specializes in monument design as well as funeral pre-planning. She lives in western Wisconsin with her husband Craig and their 2 sproodles, Porter and Maggie Jo. In their free time, they love to travel for Craig's college basketball games as a referee, spend time with their families on the lake fishing, and cook together at home. Elise also does a little makeup artistry as a hobby, and has so much fun helping brides to feel beautiful and pampered on their big day!
Elise feels that her calling from God in life is walking alongside families in their grief journey, believing that even and especially after the funeral, people deserve the utmost care and guidance as they navigate their loss. Having personal family experience with child loss, she has a special place in her heart for families who have experienced the same. She has created a cemetery memorial garden for this cause, and most recently found great honor in partnering with Halos of the St. Croix Valley. Elise and Craig are so grateful to be serving this area for many years to come.
Craig Schumacher was born and raised in western Wisconsin, where he developed a strong sense of community and a passion for helping others.He went on to attend college at Minnesota State University Mankato, where he earned a degree in Communications and Law Enforcement. It was during his college years that Craig met his wife, marking the beginning of a lifelong partnership.

He spent several years in the insurance industry and served as a police officer before transitioning to his current role at Minnesota Memorials. Throughout his career, Craig has been driven by a deep commitment to helping others, a passion that seamlessly extended to his involvement in funeral services, where he has supported his wife, Elise, for many years.
Today, Craig is an integral part of Minnesota Memorials, where he oversees day-to-day operations and logistics. His extensive background in hospitality and serving the public ensures that every detail is handled with care and professionalism, making him a trusted guide for families during their time of need.
Outside of work, Craig enjoys officiating men’s college basketball, a role that allows him to stay connected to his love for sports. He also cherishes spending weekends at the lake, golfing, and working out.
